When you visit this site, you can enter your address and a map will pop up showing an icon of your house with red, blue, and green dots in the vicinity. The dots represent registered sexual offenders of different levels. When you click on each dot, a picture of the offender will appear with an address and a description of the crime/s committed.
I was really shocked to find out how many of these predators lived near my home. The best thing is that you can show the pictures to your children and see how many of these people are near your home or your kids school.
Please pass on this information to everyone you know who has a family. Know who your neighbors are!
